Meet my Babies

They are now 5 Weeks old

Kahlua, Smokey, Bandit, Rookie

Captain & Dakota (the escape artists - they did not want to stay with the upper group)  You can see the mischievous look in Captains eye as he looks for his next adventure (usually a toe).    It took us 20 minutes to get at least 4 puppies together without them escaping off the couch.    Missing in Action is Buddy he is hiding under bed.   In the upper picture you can catch a glimpse of both Captain and Dakota bailing off side of couch.   They make us laugh all the time.   Next week we start going for walks, car rides and a stop at the bank.

Bailey's Babies

There is nothing sweeter in life than watching a new life come in to the world. I've had the good fortune to witness and assist at the birth of new babies, colts and puppies.

Before her pups were born, Bailey followed me around the house almost as a reminder that I dare not leave her as 'her time' was coming soon. Now that the seven little Angels have arrived both Bailey and I work as a team to ensure that her babies are taken care of.
If she gets up to leave her new pups Bailey will put a stuffed bear in the with them until she returns.

Bailey's Pups Have Arrived

Our girl Bailey has delivered her new litter of German Shepherd pups; six little males and one little female. This is the second litter of pups for mama Bailey.

I am busy being the caregiver to Bailey and taking care of the new babies day and night. Pictures of the new pups including their names and personality details will follow in the next few days (I hope)........... whew, I'm tired.
